Annie Simpson specializes in
emotionally intelligent leadership and high-trust teams. She is an experienced facilitator, trainer, and executive coach with 20 years of experience. Annie combines intuitive listening with creative design. She enjoys creating spaces where individuals explore themselves while building deeper connections with each other.
Before moving to London Ontario in 2022, Annie co-led a large leadership institute at the University of Toronto for engineering students and professionals. She managed a talented team and contributed to the organization’s strategic growth by developing new programs and courses. Her course ‘The Power of Story: Discovering your Leadership Narrative’ garnered international attention. More recently, at Western University, she designed and led professional development programs for faculty and staff who led teams.
As the founder of Annie Simpson Consulting, Annie leads workshops, designs training programs and facilitates team retreats. A few of her clients include Women in Capital Markets, St Michael’s College, Mentimeter, SAP, College of Nurses of Ontario, Western’s Continuing Education, and multiple teams in Higher Education settings.
Annie is a life-long learner. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Adult Education. She graduated from a 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training. She is certified to teach programs such as the Search Inside Yourself Program and the Leader Effectiveness Program which emphasizes conflict and communication. She is also a Social Styles Associate. She recently completed her training as an Executive Coach with the College of Executive Coaching.
Annie enjoys weaving the arts, psychology, and creative conversation practices into her work. She finds great satisfaction in supporting groups and teams to align on direction while deepening trust, belonging and the capacity to reflect.
